Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Fornaq (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Lazy Schedule mobile app (“the App”). Contact us at support@fornaq.com or PO Box 177, Princeton TX 75407.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide:

Account information (email address) when you sign up

Data collected automatically:

Device type and OS version
App crash reports and usage analytics (via AWS)
Subscription status (via Apple App Store)

3. How we use your data

To provide, operate, and improve the App
To process your requests through the AI assistant
To sync your tasks and goals across devices
To manage your subscription and purchases
To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. AI assistant and data sharing

When you use the built-in AI assistant (Laz), the following data is sent to our backend and to an AI language model hosted by Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock):

Your typed or voice-transcribed message
Your task and goal titles
Scheduled times and preferences

When the built-in assistant is used, this data is processed by AWS under a data-processing agreement that prohibits use of your content for training foundation models. Conversation history may be retained temporarily to maintain session context. You can reset your conversation at any time in Settings.

Lazy Schedule can additionally be connected to outside AI assistants (for example ChatGPT or Claude) via the Model Context Protocol. Data flowing to outside assistants is governed by Section 5 below and by the receiving provider’s privacy policy — not by this section.

5. Third-party AI assistants (MCP)

Lazy Schedule can be connected to external AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other clients that speak the Model Context Protocol, or “MCP”). Connecting an outside assistant is optional and requires you to authorize it from Settings.

When an outside assistant is connected, and only for the scopes and goals you authorize, the following data may be sent to that assistant’s provider so it can answer your questions and act on your behalf:

Goals, tasks, and progress updates the assistant is scoped to
Comments, cheers, and other public interactions on those goals
Requests you send to the assistant and its responses

Data that flows to an outside assistant is governed by that provider’s privacy policy and terms — not this one. We do not control how those providers store, retain, or use the data you send them, and we cannot guarantee it will not be used to train their models. Review the relevant provider’s policies before connecting.

You can review connected assistants, see the scopes and goals each one has access to, and revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations. Revoking access stops future data-sharing but does not recall data the assistant has already received.

6. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Amazon Web Services (AWS)— backend infrastructure, AI processing, and account authentication.
Apple App Store & Google Play— subscription billing and payment processing on iOS and Android respectively.
Google Calendar API— calendar event sync, only if you choose to connect Google Calendar (optional).
Third-party AI assistant providers— when you connect an outside assistant via MCP (see Section 5), that provider becomes a data recipient. Examples include OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude).

7. Subscriptions and billing

Subscription billing is handled entirely by the platform you downloaded the App from — Apple on iOS, Google on Android. We do not store your payment information. Subscription management is subject to those platforms’ terms; see apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes and play.google.com/about/play-terms.

8. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the App Settings, which will permanently erase all associated data.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing

11. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
